Annual Hart Holdiay Food Drive
Hi everyone. The attached flyer is for a Holiday Can Food Drive. We have held this event almost every year. Each team has 11-12 players, so if everyone participated, we could bring quite the haul. We could make a few families in the SCV very happy during the holidays. Think of the smiles on the children faces that benefit from the SCV Pantry. A few years ago we had so many items that when the SCV Pantry showed to pick up the items, they were blown away. They had to make 2 trips to get everything!!!

To make it fun for the teams, make it a competition. One year we had 2 bronco teams competing against one an other. Grandma's were running out to the stores to purchase "just one more can!!"....HA!! It was great. There will be a gift certificate from Toppers Pizza for one team from our Saturday league and one team from the Sunday Club league.

Winter Classic Baseball And Softball Tournament
Travel ball teams....Mark your calendars for our annual Winter Classic on December 10th and 11th. Baseball and Softball brackets. More info coming soon. General questions to our Tournament Director Aviv Ilan.

New Turf On Mustang 1 and Pinto
We have installed artificial turf in the foul territory area on the Mustang 1 and Pinto fields. Because of that, we are not allowing chewing gum or sunflower seeds on those two fields. We have also put turf in some of the Softball batting cages. No seeds or gum there either. Thank you for your understanding.

Batting Cage Rules
Because of high demand for the cages, we have developed some rules for cage use. Please adhere to them and treat your fellow coaches and players the way you want to be treated out there. Input on how these are working can be emailed to Jay Creps our Softball Commissioner and Randy Sreden/Mark Cavarretta, our Baseball Commissioners.

Lloyd Sreden
Lloyd Sreden, a longtime Hart parent and directer, passed away on Monday June 27. He will always be remembered as one of the truly good guys, not only for his time here at Hart, but for his volunteer work in our valley. Our condolences to the Sreden family.

The service was held on Thursday, June 30th.

Lloyd's desire was to help others receive quality care and treatment. The Sreden family would appreciate donations in Lloyd's memory to the City of Hope Cancer Center to ensure that future cancer patients will be able to have the same fighting chance as Lloyd had. Click HERE to donate.
